Most significantly, Lebanon has also lost a great ally in Syria.

In the foreseeable future, it might be most sensible for Lebanon to rest arms and build on diplomatic channels.

As this peace process is set in stages, it would be beneficial to observe the course and act accordingly, instead overreacting.

The Israelis cannot last for long in this situation. I am not
claiming, however, that we have a balance of power or military parity on the ground, but I do know that this kind of warfare is very costly to the Israelis;

The relentless daily incursions in the form of the incessant violations of the ceasefire agreement must not be allowed to continue for too long, however. For, conceding even one inch of Lebanon would tantamount to a grave mistake, which the Jews will exploit on, extend, and incorporate into their dream of Greater Israel.
