Zionist media, citing an Zionist official, revealed that “Israel” intends to continue its airstrikes targeting weapons belonging to the former Syrian regime. The official added that the United States is providing full cover for the Israeli operation in Syria.
During a press conference in occupied al-Quds, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US-elect President Donald Trump for recognizing “Israel’s” 1981 annexation of the Golan, declaring, “The Golan will be part of the State of Israel for eternity.”
Captured from Syria during the 1967 Six-Day War, the Golan Heights remains under Israeli occupation, with Netanyahu claiming that its occupation ensures “Israel’s” “security and sovereignty”.
Over the weekend, he ordered troops to advance into a UN-patrolled buffer zone and beyond, after armed Syrian opposition groups took control of major Syrian cities. The United Nations condemned the occupation as a violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement between “Israel” and Syria.
“Israel’s” Foreign Minister Gideon Saar alleged the move is “limited and temporary,” with US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller claiming that the Israeli occupation of Syria’s Jabal Sheikh (Mount Hermon) is “not permanent”.
Those who have knowledge of the Iranian history will better understand why the Zionist colony have taken these steps.
Back in the day, under Shah Pahlavi’s regime, Iran was a close ally of the West. Henceforth, Iran used to rip off the benefits.
The Iranian arsenal was filled with sophisticated weaponry, which was upgraded with the latest models of fighter jet, tanks, bombs, and missiles supplied by the West, in particular by the US and UK.
The Shah also established the very best of nuclear facilities available for money’s worth and supplied exclusively by its Western allies.
In return, the Shah had turned Iran to a Western toy, lacking souverenity and at the service of ‘Israel’.
In 1979, following the overthrow of the Shah and his abrupt departure, Ayatollah Khomeini returned from France and assumed the leadership.
Eversince, Iran has kept the maintenance, extension, and improvement of their arsenal and nuclear facilities ‘bequeathed’ or inherited from the overthrown Shah regime.
Naturally, with the Islamic Revolution, all ties to ‘Israel’ were severed. Although at some point, the Israelis still supported the Iranian regime against Iraq, as the latter was known for his pronounced anti-Israel stance in favour of the Palestinian cause.
The ‘Israelis’ to that time were still nurturing hopes to regain their former ally.
