Opportunist Zionist colony crossed the buffer zone into Syria and bombs under the pretext of “security”

Zionist media reports the entry of IOF tanks into Khan Arnabeh, Syria, which is northeast of Quneitra and 5km from the border of the Golan. This follows entry of tanks into Quneitra and airstrikes in its countryside.

It must be noted that Quneitra is within the buffer zone established in 1974 between the occupied Golan and Syria, but Khan Arnabeh is not, as it is beyond the “Bravo Line” that the IOF is not allowed to cross.

These new violations of Syrian territory, the military reinforcement of the “buffer zone,” and the airstrikes that came with it, come just hours after the Syrian opposition took control of the Syrian state.

At least 4 airstrikes targeted the Quneitra countryside on the border of southern Syria and the occupied Golan after IOF tanks entered the area.

Zionist forces are reportedly digging a large trench on the border and have destroyed what they claim are weapons depots.

Moments ago, IOF tanks entered the Syrian town of Quneitra on the border of the occupied Golan from the demilitarized zone, accompanied by shelling of surrounding areas.

This comes after the IOF increased its deployment in the occupied Syrian Golan yesterday morning and after the subsequent fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s rule in Syria this morning.

This morning, schools are cancelled in 4 settlements in the occupied Golan due to the “security situation.” Further, the IOF has set up checkpoints in the occupied Golan and considered some agricultural areas “closed military zones” there.

Israeli media outlets have revealed that “Israel” is maintaining direct and mediated communications with several rebel groups in Syria, including Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.

According to Walla News, these contacts are part of ongoing engagements in the region. Similarly, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that “Israel” is actively conducting dialogue with certain Syrian rebel factions.

This comes after Israeli media reported Sunday that Israeli forces, accompanied by tanks, crossed into Syrian territories from the occupied Golan Heights, deploying significant forces in the zone and in al-Quneitra, southwestern Syria.
