The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that there is no evidence suggesting a warning was given before ‘Israel’ bombed Gaza’s Kamal Adwan hospital early Thursday, according to the agency’s regional representative.
The incident is particularly troubling as it occurred just a week after Israeli authorities allowed an Indonesian emergency medical team to enter the hospital. WHO’s Rik Peeperkorn expressed deep concern during a UN briefing from Geneva, noting that the team felt compelled to leave within a week due to fear or pressure.
Similarly, Kamal Adwan’s Chief described the situation in the hospital as catastrophic. He maintained that there are scores of casualties, including 4 martyrs from the hospital’s medical staff.
“No surgeons are left,” he further warned.
The only medical team that was performing operations was the Indonesian medical delegation, and they were the first to be forced to leave toward a checkpoint.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed three massacres across the Gaza Strip, murdering 32 Palestinians and injuring 95 others.
While some of the victims were transported to the few partially functioning hospitals in the Strip, most of them remain trapped beneath the rubble, with almost impossible means to get out, amid the continuous Israeli obstruction of rescue operations.
This raises the death toll to 44,612 Palestinians killed, and 105,834 injured since October 7, 2023.
Over 63 martyrs have ascended in the Gaza Strip since dawn today – RNN videos.
