‘Israeli’ forces have committed 62 violations of the Lebanon ceasefire agreement since it came into effect on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The breaches include airstrikes, artillery fire, and other aggressive actions.
On Sunday, December 1, Israeli warplanes bombed the southern town of Yaroun in the early morning. The Lebanese News Agency reported three shells were fired near Naba’a Ibl, the Jalahia area, and the Marjeyoun plain around the town of Khiam. Heavy gunfire was also heard.
Saturday alone saw 24 violations, according to an Anadolu Agency report based on Lebanese sources. The breaches targeted Marjeyoun and Bint Jbeil (Nabatieh Governorate), Tyre and Sidon (South Governorate), and Baalbek (Baalbek-Hermel Governorate).
‘Israel’s’ military acknowledged the violations, claiming they were aimed at targeting Hezbollah fighters. However, such actions still constitute a breach of the ceasefire agreement.
