Zionist Channel 14 said the Lebanese people are returning to South Lebanon, completely disregarding the ‘Israeli’ army spokesperson’s warnings of not doing so until told by the ‘Israeli’ army.
Earlier today, after the ceasefire came into effect at 4 am local time, the Israeli army spokesperson warned the displaced Lebanese people to return to their homes in South Lebanon.
However, as soon as the ceasefire took effect, the Lebanese people rushed back to their homes, completely disregarding these warnings and showing further resilience.
The flow of people going back has been extremely heavy, causing traffic across the country with one common sentiment shared between all, “We don’t care if there’s nothing left, we are going back home. We are victorious.”
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent has reported from the outskirts of Khiam in southern Lebanon that Israeli occupation forces have fired five artillery shells toward the vicinity of the Fatima Gate on the border.
Our correspondent reported that the occupation forces appear to be attempting to intimidate displaced citizens who are returning to their homes, showing no regard for the ceasefire agreements in place.
