In a televised statement, US President Joe Biden announced the ceasefire deal in Lebanon will take effect tomorrow at 4 a.m. local time.

Biden said that this deal is designed to be a permanent cessation of hostilities.

The US President explained that ‘Israeli’ forces will gradually retreat from border areas in South Lebanon over the next 60 days as the Lebanese Army will advance in their place.
