‘Israeli’ occupation forces targeted a Lebanese Army center in al-Amiriya in Tyre, South Lebanon, killing 2 soldier and injuring 15 others, some reportedly in critical condition, according to a statement by the Army. The attack also caused significant damage to the center.
The Lebanese Army has repeatedly found itself deliberately targeted by Israeli airstrikes, despite talks about its wider deployment to the border.
The Lebanese Health Ministry has reported a preliminary death toll of 29 martyrs and 67 wounded following an Israeli airstrike on the Basta al-Fawqa neighborhood, a densely populated area in the heart of Beirut.
The unannounced strike, which happened early Saturday, targeted an eight-story residential building, completely leveling it and causing extensive damage to nearby structures.
