Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that explosions were heard in Beirut, with the sound being extremely strong and audible across a wide area.

Our correspondent added that an Israeli airstrike targeted Basta area in Beirut.

It is noteworthy that Israeli drones have not left Beirut’s skies and are still overhead.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the residential building targeted by the Israeli occupation in the Basta area of Beirut has been completely destroyed.

The surrounding buildings also sustained significant damage, according to our correspondent.

Earlier, an Israeli airstrike hit the residential building in Basta around 4 a.m., with reports indicating that the explosions were heard as far away as Mount Lebanon and even Saida.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation airstrike on Basta, Beirut, has resulted in a preliminary toll of at least four people killed and 23 injured. 

It is noteworthy that this is only a preliminary toll and the search and rescue operations remain ongoing.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent further stressed that what “Israel” did in Beirut was commit a massacre by leveling a residential building, at 4:00 am, while residents slept.
