We are still under a severe siege; nothing is allowed in—not medicine, medical staff, food, ambulances, or civil defense services.
Despite our repeated pleas to the world, the same scenario continues to unfold.
Yesterday, I received a distress call from the Al-Kahlout family after their house was targeted. Unfortunately, we could do nothing. Those who managed to reach us survived, but the rest, tragically, became martyrs.
We currently have 85 injured, including women and children, receiving minimal healthcare services.
The intensive care unit holds 6 extremely critical cases.
Sadly, cases of malnutrition have begun to emerge. Since yesterday, 17 children have arrived at the emergency room showing signs of malnutrition. Additionally, an elderly man passed away yesterday due to severe dehydration. The situation is becoming increasingly catastrophic.
Regrettably, there has been no action or even promises from any international body to open a humanitarian corridor to allow in medical supplies, surgical teams, children’s food, infant formula, and therapeutic milk to treat malnutrition cases or ambulances.
