Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea came under fire once again

“A dangerous incident and dangerous escalation,” read the joint statement issued by the Israeli police and Shin Bet, after two flares were launched near Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea, with both landing in the house’s yard.

The incident, described by Israeli media outlet Walla as “another security failure” in Netanyahu’s protection, has drawn widespread condemnation. For instance, opposition leader Yair Lapid stated, “I strongly condemn the launch of flares toward Netanyahu’s house. The police must find the perpetrators and deliver them to justice.”

Likewise, head of State Camp coalition Benny Gantz stated, “I strongly condemn the launching of flares at the prime minister’s residence,” which he also called a dangerous issue.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog echoed the same sentiment, describing the incident as “a very dangerous” one.
