Eight hospitals closed; the Ministry is evaluating the possible ninth closure due to extensive damage

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that Tebnine Governmental Hospital suffered significant damage due to IOF airstrikes adjacent to it. It is conducting an assessment of the situation before deciding whether to close it, like 8 other hospitals in Lebanon that have gone out of service.

The same thing happened in the hospitals of Baalbek, where a number were damaged and individuals were wounded.

Two paramedics ascended to martyrdom in Bazourieh moments ago, bringing the number of medical worker martyrs to at least 174 in the last year.

The Ministry of Health added: “Amid the continued and increasingly violent assaults, we affirm the full responsibility of the enemy entity for violating international and humanitarian norms and laws. We express our astonishment at the puzzling silence of the international community regarding such violations, which make the task of treating wounds and the natural human right to medical care fraught with danger.”
