Zionist media reports that the naval commando unit Shayetet 13 and special agents from unit 504 infiltrated a building in the Batroun area of northern Lebanon, capturing a “wanted individual”.
Earlier on Saturday, CCTV footage was circulated in Lebanese media showing a troop of around 25 soldiers escorting a person near Batroun in north Lebanon.
Some reports said that this was an Israeli unit abducting a person from a chalet near Batroun’s shore, with some saying the abductee is a Lebanese Army officer.
Security sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the person who was kidnapped in Batroun, north Lebanon, is the captain of a civilian ship, and not a Lebanese Army officer.
The source added that the incident is still under investigation and the identity of the kidnappers remains unknown.
