China has vowed “countermeasures” to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity condemning the $2 billion weapons sale by the United States to Taiwan.
The Pentagon said on Friday that the US government had approved a potential $2bn arms sale package to Taiwan, including the delivery of an advanced air defense missile system, including advanced surface-to-air missile systems and radar.

In a statement late Saturday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said it strongly condemns and firmly opposes the sales and has lodged “solemn representations” with the United States.

China urged the United States to immediately stop arming Taiwan and stop its dangerous moves that undermine peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.

This is what the West led by the US can do best for its own benefit: sowing the seeds of devision and hate.

Western corporate media has always claimed that the US would support Democratic Taiwan against China by delivering weapons without ever mentioning the history of Taiwan. The media has taken it so far that no one even knows any longer Taiwan is Chinese territory. The West has erased the truth behind imperialist Japan and its crimes against humanity and, most of all, Japanese crimes against China.

Japan’s image has no trace of its imperialist past because the West wants its ally with a clean slate.

What we hear and see about the Western-ally Japan in the media is reduced to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagazaki.

Yet, no corporate media channel mentions what imperialist Japan committed in China, including but not limited to Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, and so on and on.
