IOF airstrikes renewed on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting at least two branches of Al-Qard Al-Hasan Bank. Another strike targeted a branch in Baalbek eastern Lebanon.
Earlier, the IOF declared blatantly that they will be carrying out a wide campaign of airstrikes on Beirut and the Bekaa targeting civilian sites and the popular cradle, particularly branches of Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association, an Islamic bank.
In 20 minutes, the IOF issued over 24 evacuation orders in Beirut and the Bekaa, promising more. Most of these are in the southern suburbs and Beirut.
Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association issued the following:
“The enemy’s bankruptcy and failure to achieve its objectives from its combat capabilities have led to threats targeting the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Foundation, known for its social nature. It is important to note that the foundation has taken all necessary measures since the start of the war. These measures are sufficient to safeguard the deposits and the trust of the people, protecting their livelihoods and the fruits of their labor. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the Israeli army launched strikes on over 50 towns and villages in southern Lebanon overnight.
The southern city of Nabatieh was hit for the third time this week, along with targeted strikes in Haret Hreik and Hadath—two neighborhoods in Beirut’s Al-Dahieh
