Four IOF soldiers were killed by a large explosion in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Among them are members of the IOF’s 401st Brigade (“Iron Tracks”), including an officer with the rank of colonel who heads the Brigade.
Additionally, another soldier was reported as “clinically dead” by Al-Qassam sniper fire.
Further details have begun to emerge about the death of the commander of the 401st Brigade (“Iron Tracks”) of the IOF:
The Brigade commander, who carries the rank of colonel in the army, was killed in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip – the area for which he was responsible.
He was killed while receiving a “security briefing” on the ongoing genocide in the northern Gaza Strip, when the vehicle he was traveling in was targeted by the resistance and destroyed completely.
A number of the commander’s assistants, who were present for the briefing, were seriously wounded in the incident. He is reportedly the highest-ranking IOF officer to be killed since the start of the ground invasion in Gaza.

The IOF officially admits to the death of a colonel leading the 401st Armored Brigade killed in a precise resistance ambush in Jabalia camp, northern #Gaza Strip.
They also admitted to the serious wounding of the commander of the 52nd Battalion, which falls under the 401st Brigade. The deputy commander (lieutenant colonel) of the 162 Brigade was also seriously wounded, in addition to another officer. The IOF has already called for replacements for all of these positions; for the 52nd Battalion, the replacement is a settler who was previously wounded in Rafah months ago.
As the resistance said previously to the “Iron Tracks Brigade”: “The marks of Al-Qassam soldiers’ boots are still visible on your faces.” RNN
