At least 25 Palestinians, including children and women, have been killed in an Israeli attack targeting tents at an UNRWA school sheltering displaced people in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The camp has been under renewed ground and aerial assault and siege for 13 consecutive days.
The Israeli military carried out a drone attack on tents inside the Abu Hussein school that has turned into an evacuation center for the past few months, housing hundreds of displaced families.
The fire caused by the drone attack spread from one tent to another, resulting in a large number of tents being burned.
The death toll is expected to rise, local sources said.
