Sixteen people were killed and 52 were wounded Wednesday following Israeli airstrikes on the Nabatieh Municipality and the Municipalities Union buildings, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon reported, as “Israel” continues to target civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Israeli occupation forces carpet-bombed the vicinity of the city of Nabatieh, targeting residential buildings and several sites, our correspondent indicated.

Among the martyrs is the mayor Dr. Ahmad Kaheel, who stayed in the city along with his colleagues to provide help for the remaining people.

Similarly, a later Israeli airstrike on the town of Haboush claimed the lives of 4 people according to the National News Agency.

Four martyrs ascended as a result of an IOF airstrike on Tayr Debba near Sour in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese health ministry has said that Israeli strikes across the country have killed 27 people and injured 185 over the last 24 hours, as Israel presses forward with a heavy and indiscriminate bombing campaign.
