The US, which arms the genocidal colony to commit war crimes, is said to have expressed concern to Israel after reports that its troops fired on UN peacekeeper positions in Lebanon in at least two incidents since Thursday.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly told Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in a call on Saturday that the UN’s peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) must not be targeted.
Forty nations who contributed troops to UNIFIL have also signed a joint statement calling for the protection of peacekeepers in Lebanon. AJ report
“Israel” attacks deliberately civilians, civilian infrastructure, paramedics, hospitals, shelters, mosques, etc., and claims the targeting of Hezbollah positions.
There is barely any international condemnation.

In many ways, the Jordanian regime cannot be trusted. However, “Israel needs to be stopped by the UN Security Council to prevent it from dragging the region into an all-out war,” Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi says.
He said Chapter VII of the UN Charter must be invoked to “force Israel to comply with international law and immediately end all its illegal wars” in Gaza, the occupied West Bank and Lebanon, referencing a framework that allows the UN Security Council to impose sanctions or in extreme cases even military force to guard against threats to peace.
Safadi wrote in a post on X that Netanyahu and his far-right ministers must be held accountable to end Israeli impunity, and called on all nations to stop sending arms to Israel that are now being used against civilians, UN peacekeepers, journalists and medics across the Middle East.
“Otherwise, this radical Israeli government will further undermine the credibility of international law and institutions, and drag the region deeper into the abyss of an all out regional war, whose consequences will reverberate far beyond the borders of the region.” AJ report
It is time to implement the law.
