Twenty-six were martyred in the last 24-hour period in Lebanon; deliberate targeting of ambulances

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health has reported that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since last October has reached 2,255, with 10,524 wounded.
In the past 24 hours alone, 26 individuals were martyred, and 144 others were wounded. Of those, 17 were killed and 62 injured in South Lebanon. Breaking it down further, 3 were martyred and 41 injured in Nabatieh, while 1 was martyred and 22 were wounded in the Bekaa. In Baalbeck-Hermel, 5 were martyred and 19 others injured.
Recently, the Israeli occupation army issued a threat to target ambulances in South Lebanon, falsely claiming they are used to “transport fighters and weapons.”
This alarming threat fits into a larger pattern of the Israeli occupation justifying attacks on civilian infrastructure under the pretense of military threats. The recent strike on Deir Billa in Batroun serves as further proof of “Israel’s” misleading rhetoric, as locals are well aware that these areas do not house any “military threat.”

The mayor of Barja in the Chouf region, Brigadier General Hassan Saad, denied in a statement the rumors circulating on social media about an Israeli airstrike targeting a Hezbollah center in the town.
He affirmed that “what was targeted was an inhabited residential apartment.”
