The Syndicate of Chemists in Lebanon condemned “the barbaric aggression against civilians in Lebanon,” expressing concern about “the effects of inhaling the dust from the bombings on the southern suburbs of Beirut and other regions” as a result of Israeli attacks.
The syndicate stated that “the extent of destruction and the depth of penetration in buildings and land, reaching dozens of meters, indicate the use of bombs containing depleted uranium.”
In their statement, they emphasized that “the use of such internationally banned weapons, particularly in densely populated areas like the capital, results in widespread destruction, and the dust left behind can cause numerous diseases, especially when inhaled.” Al Mayadeen

Five hospitals in Lebanon have been compelled to shut down amid the intensifying Israeli aggression.
The St. Therese Hospital in Hadath-St. Therese Street and Al Rassoul Al-Aazam Hospital on Beirut’s Airport Road are the latest hospitals to go out of service after relentless Israeli bombardment of Beirut’s Southern Suburb.
This follows the closures of Marjayoun Governmental Hospital in Marjayoun, South Lebanon, and Salah Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jbeil also in southern Lebanon, as well as the Mays al-Jabal Hospital near the Israeli-occupied Palestinian-Lebanese border. Al Mayadeen

Israeli air raid kills 2 people in southern Lebanon town
Warplanes bombed a house in the town of Qaliya, in western Bekaa Valley, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.
The attack killed two people, it added, without giving further details.

Israeli jets have bombed a house in the town of Srifa, south of the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, killing at least four people.


Israel’s assault, which has killed more than 1,000 people over the past two weeks, has triggered a mass flight from southern Lebanon where more than one million people have been displaced. AJ report
