The 12th paramedic was martyred in Lebanon, in the fourth direct targeting of the Health Commission centers today. The last paramedic, a staff of the Islamic Health Commission ascended to martyrdom as a result of an IOF airstrike on the Commission’s centre in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. Several others were wounded. The Israeli occupation continues to target medical personnel in Gaza and Lebanon in a well-documented and flagrant violation of international laws that “Israel” rendered worthless amid the wide-scale Israeli aggression in the region.

A number of nurses and healthcare workers were injured in the Martyr Salah Ghandour Hospital in the city of Bint Jbeil after being targeted by 4 Israeli artillery shells.

The occupation is not allowing the ambulance crews through UNIFIL to enter the targeted hospital of Martyr Salah Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jbeil to evacuate the injured.

Dozens of medical workers, ambulance drivers, civil defense, and others have been martyred or wounded. 40 ambulance crew members have ascended to martyrdom in the last four days. The Director of the Civil Defense in the Islamic Health Commission, Adnan Muqadam stated: “No matter what happens, we will continue to stay by our people’s side, by the side of our resistance, and by the side of our Sayyed who was martyred among us…
