Beirut’s southern suburb has been subjected to continuous and violent bombardment, with relentless airstrikes pounding residential areas. Locals describe the scenes as harrowing, with explosions shaking the neighborhood and reducing buildings to rubble. The air raids, which have been ongoing for several hours, are mostly coming without warning, endangering the lives of vulnerable civilians.  
The reported attacks come just mere minutes after “Israel’s” military spokesman issued a call for residents of Beirut’s southern Burj al-Barajneh area and several nearby buildings to evacuate.

For the fifth night in a row, the Israeli occupation launched a series of strikes targeting residential blocks in the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
The violent airstrikes leveled dozens of residential buildings in the suburb, destroying hundreds of homes so far.

RNN reported that two airstrikes by IOF warplanes targeted the Martyr Hadi Nasrallah highway in the southern suburb of Beirut, as well as the Burj Al-Barajneh area amidst intensive, low flights of warplanes.
8 airstrikes have targeted the Lebanese capital so far in the most recent wave. Airstrikes also targeted Burj Al-Shamali and Khiam in southern Lebanon.

Israeli occupation fighter jets conducted intense airstrikes on the Al-Marija area in the southern suburb of Beirut.
