at approximately 2:05 this morning, the “israeli” enemy launched an aerial aggression with warplanes and drones from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of sites in the city of Damascus. Our air defenses confronted the enemy’s missiles and drones and intercepted most of them. The aggression led to the martyrdom of 3 civilians, including a journalist, the injury of 9 others, and inflicted significant damage to private property. RNN

More now from Syria, where state media says the number of people killed in an airstrike on Damascus has risen to three.
Earlier, state TV said one of its television presenters, Safaa Ahmad, died due to Israeli strikes on the capital.
It is now reporting three people have died and nine others have been injured in the attacks.
The Israeli airstrike also caused significant damage to private property, state media added.
Israel has not commented on the strike, and Sky News has not independently verified the involvement of its forces. Sky News
