The IOF declared the area of “Metulla,” “Misgav Am,” and “Kfar Giladi” in northeastern occupied Palestine a closed military zone and prohibited all entry there. This comes after hundreds of operations targeting IOF soldiers in these areas. The affected settlements are across from Al-Wazzani, Khiam, and Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.
The mayor of “Metulla” also asked the small number of remaining settlers there to leave earlier today. Settler websites reported that the zionist entity has sent buses to evacuate remaining settlers near the border from settlements that have been previously evacuated.

US sending thousands of additional troops to Middle East
The US will send a “few thousand” additional troops to the Middle East to boost security – and they will be prepared to defend Israel if necessary, the Pentagon says.
Multiple fighter jet squadrons and the personnel needed to support them will make up the increased presence, spokesperson Sabrina Singh said.
The jets were originally supposed to replace squadrons already there, but now both will remain in place to double the airpower.
They are not in place to assist in an evacuation, Ms Singh said, adding: “They are there for the protection of US forces.”
Israel tells US it plans imminent ground operation
Israel has told the US it is planning a limited ground operation in Lebanon that could start imminently, the Washington Post reports. It cited a US official as saying the operation would be smaller than Israel’s 2006 war against Hezbollah.
The offensive would focus on removing militant infrastructure along the border, as Israel seeks to return residents to the north, they said.
Israeli tanks assemble near Lebanon’s border
On 29 September, a video circulated showing numerous military vehicles including tanks and personnel carriers in a field.
Sky News has geolocated this footage, finding it was filmed in northern Israel, just under 10km from the border.
Satellite imagery captured on 28 September shows more than 60 vehicles assembled.
Using additional low-resolution satellite imagery, Sky News has determined that the vehicles began arriving at this location on 26 September.
Footage and satellite images show Israeli forces assembling military hardware close to the country’s border with Lebanon.
