The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced the martyrdom of commander Ali Karaki, who was assassinated in the Israeli aggression on Beirut’s Southern Suburb on September 27, alongside Sayyed Hassan.
According to the Resistance’s statement, Karaki “led the Islamic Resistance fighters in South Lebanon since the Zionist invasion of 1982, partaking in all great battles with the Zionist enemy, up to his historic role in the liberation in 2000, and the Divine Victory in 2006.”
He was also directly responsible for “leading the southern front, throughout all of its axes and units in the support front, since October 8, 2023, and until his blessed martyrdom.”

Place and Date of Birth: Al-Musaytibah, May 10, 1962. Originally from the town of Ain Bouswar in southern Lebanon.
From the founding generation of Islamic Work in Beirut.
A key leader in the heroic operations resisting the “israeli” invasion of Beirut in 1982.
Planned and oversaw numerous martyrdom operations, including the martyrdom operation of Ahmad Qassir.
Established resistance fronts and formations in the border area after the “israeli” withdrawal in 1985.
He took on military command of the southern region until 1996, during which he planned, supervised, and directly led several qualitative operations against “israeli” military positions during the occupation, until the liberation of the south in 2000.
A leader in the heroic resistance against “israeli” wars on Lebanon in 1993, 1996, and 2006.
Since 2006, he was responsible for all formations and units within the Sayyed al-Shuhada (AS) headquarters until his martyrdom.
He help membership in Hezbollah’s Central Shura and the Jihadist Council since its founding. He was also a jihadist aide to the Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, since 2008.
He was one of the jihadist leaders who planned and led military operations against takfiri groups.
He planned and oversaw military operations of the Sayyed al-Shuhada (AS) headquarters on the Lebanese support front since the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
He ascended as a martyr on the path to Al-Quds alongside the most sacred and exalted martyr of the resistance, His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, after a treacherous “israeli” assassination on 27/09/2024, in the southern Dahiye of Beirut.
