Israeli airstrikes struck oil tanks at Ras Isa Port in Yemen, with additional strikes on Hodeidah Port on the Red Sea, west of Yeme, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported on Sunday.
The spokesperson for the Sanaa-based Yemeni Ministry of Health told Al Mayadeen that five people were killed and 45 others were injured in the preliminary toll of the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah Governorate.
Fires have ignited in fuel tanks at Hodeidah Port, with thick smoke rising as a result of the airstrikes.
An informed source told Al Mayadeen that a swarm of Israeli aircraft targeted a civilian port and power stations.
The source made it clear that the latest aggression will not force Yemen to end its military operations under any circumstance, underlining that civilian targeting will be met with reciprocality, and “the enemy’s society should be aware of this.”
