After the “israeli” occupation desecrated graves and stole the bodies of martyrs, sending them to the Gaza Strip in unethical and illegal conditions — the most recent of which occurred yesterday when a container containing 88 bodies was sent without any data or information that could help identify the individuals.
The Ministry attempted to involve the International Committee of the Red Cross to facilitate coordination with the occupation, but they declined due to non-compliance with the protocols usually followed in such cases.

In light of these developments, and out of respect for our martyrs, a committee consisting of relevant parties has been formed to handle the bodies with the dignity they deserve. The bodies will be received today in preparation for their burial.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated they hold the occupation fully responsible for its inhumane and unethical treatment of the bodies and appealed to international organizations to fulfill their role and pressure the occupation to address these cases according to recognized standards and protocols – RNN.
