Radwan Special Forces Commander Ibrahim Aqeel was martyred in the Beirut airstrikes today

Born in Bednayel (Bekaa) on 24-12-1962,
he was part of the founding generation of Islamic Work in Beirut.
Ibrahim Aqeel was one of the heroic commanders during the confrontation against the “israeli” invasion of Beirut in the early 1980s.
In the early 1990s, he took responsibility for the central training in Hezbollah and played a pivotal role in developing human capabilities in the resistance formations.
In the mid-1990s, he assumed the role of Chief of Staff in the Islamic Resistance.
He took charge of the Jabel Amel Operations Unit from 1997 until after the liberation, directly leading many qualitative operations during that period.
He founded the Operations Department of the Islamic Resistance, and from 2008, he held the position of Deputy of the Secretary-General (may God protect him) for operations affairs and was appointed a member of the Jihadist Council.
He was one of the leaders who heroically confronted the “israeli” aggression on Lebanon in 2006.
He oversaw the establishment, development, and leadership of the Radwan Force within the Islamic Resistance.
He was one of the senior jihadist commanders who planned and managed operations against takfiri groups on Lebanon’s eastern borders, in Qusayr, Qalamoun, and other Syrian areas.
He planned and oversaw the leadership of the Radwan Force’s military operations on the Lebanese support front since the beginning of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.
He ascended as a martyr on the path to Al-Quds following a treacherous “israeli” assassination on 20-09-2024 in the southern suburb of Beirut – RNN.
