On Wednesday, torrential rains from mountainous areas surrounded several areas and homes on the outskirts of Hodeida city and the coastal countryside of the province for the first time in decades.
Local sources said that the floods reached the northern entrance to Hodeidah city, causing severe damage to infrastructure, homes, and agricultural properties, cutting off several roads, and killing dozens in several districts – Saba News report.
