Hezbollah: Second Liberation a Glorious Day in Our Nation’s History – Al Manar

Liberation from ISIL and other Takfiri terrorists –

Hezbollah on Wednesday extended congratulations to the Lebanese nation on the seventh anniversary of Second Liberation, when Lebanese Army and Hezbollah, in cooperation with the Syrian Army, liberated northern and eastern Lebanese border from ISIL and other Takfiri terrorists who were threatening the lives of millions of Lebanese and Syrian people – Al Manar report.

On August 19, 2017, former Lebanese President Michel Aoun announced the beginning of Operation Fajr al-Joroud against the ISIS terrorist organization near the Syrian border in the outskirts of Al-Qaa and Ras Baalbek.
The operation, fought by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and the Lebanese Army, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army, ended on August 28, 2017, in a decisive victory over the terrorists and the liberation of the outskirts of Ras Baalbek and al-Qaa from terrorist groups. 
In a statement issued on the occasion, Hez-bol-lah extended its congratulations and best wishes to “the noble people of the Bekaa Valley, who sacrificed greatly in the battle of honor and dignity to save the nation from evil, takfir, and discord, and who provided their people and country with security and stability.” Al Mayadeen
