Daily reminder for the crimes against humanity by the Saudi-led, US-BRITISH-backed coalition

On 23 Aug 2017, the coalition targeted displaced families who were leaving their homes in Hodeidah in a vehicle. Twenty-two children and 4 women were killed in the airstrikes. The ambulance could not get to the victims due to intense coalition warplanes flying  on the targeted area to recover the bodies of the victims from the burning car – Yaman Yoon report with video and gallery (very graphic).

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that 26 children and four women were killed in Al-Durayhimi area – AOAV report.

On 23 August 2017, at least 51 people were killed in an airstrike that hit a hotel on the outskirts of Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, officials and local medics said. Ali Al-Asimi, a senior security official in Sanaa, blamed a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia for the attack on the Arhab district. Most of the dead in the hotel were merchants, Al-Asimi said.Mohammed al-Sarhi, a farmer, told CNN that most of those killed at the hotel died while sleeping and were buried under rubble. Rescue workers were still pulling bodies from the remains of the hotel on Wednesday afternoon, Hussein al-Tawil, head of the Sanaa branch of the Yemeni Red Cross, told the AFP news agency. The strike was one of at least two dozen across the country, according to the Health Ministry. At least 26 people were reported injured. Yemen’s Interior Ministry said seven Houthi fighters died in coalition airstrikes at other locations in the capitalCNN report and Channel 4 Video.

Saudi-led coalition attack on a hotel

On 23 August 2019, in Amran, the US-BACKED, Saudi-led aggression launched 4 raids on the Amshiya area in Harf Sufyan district and destroyed the Amshiya Bridge linking the gov of Amran and Saada Governorate. In Saada and Hajjah, the coalition launched two raids.

In Hodeidah, the forces of aggression targeted with more than 30 artillery shells the besieged city of al- Durayhimi.

The Saudi invaders and mercenaries fired 13 artillery shells at the al-Dhabyani neighbourhood, the Al Qemma Hotel and Mobile intersection. The invaders and mercenaries shelled the faculty of engineering, Al Wahyeen Mosque and Al Dhabyani neighbourhood in the 7 Jolio residential area – Yaman Yoon report.
