On 17 August 2015, warplanes from a Saudi-led coalition hit the vital Hudaydah port, destroying cranes and warehouses, and cutting off the main gateway for commercial trade and humanitarian supplies to the north and centre of the country – Save the Children report.

On 17 August 2018, in Hodeidah governorate, two citizens were killed while others were injured as a result of the targeting of the Saudi jets by a series of raids on citizen’s farms in the mountainous area of the district of Tuhita.
In Sadah, the coalition launched two raids. Saudi rockets and artillery shells targeted densely populated villages, causing heavy damage to homes and propert – Yaman Yoon report.
On 17 August 2019, the Saudi-American coalition continued on launching air raid and bombardment on a number of governorates, causing casualties and destruction of public and private property.
In Taiz, a woman was killed after being shot by the Saudi-led coalition mercenaries.
In Hudaydah, a boy was injured by invaders and mercenaries.
The coalition attacked Hudaydah with more than 40 artillery shells – Yaman Yoon report.
