On 7 August 2016, the Saudi-led military coalition carried out around 30 air strikes residents said, a day after U.N. talks to end a civil war there expired without achieving peace.
The bombings targeted Sanaa, Saada, Jawf, Hajja and Taiz Governorate, stretching from the country’s far north to coastal south.
There were no immediate reports of casualties in the strikes, which were carried out largely in remote war zones.

On 7 August 2018, a civilian was wounded after a bombardment operation held by the Saudi guards in Sadah. In the Hodeidah governorate, Saudi warships targeted and destroyed a building under construction near the historic castle on the coastal strip – OFQ NEWS report.
On 7 August 2019, the Saudi-led coalition bombed Sana’a, Sadah, Hajjah, Hodeidah, and al Dhale in multipleair raids. An unknown number of civilian casualties were reported following artillery shelling in Al Dhale governorate – Yaman Yoon report.
