Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has encouraged settlers to “take up arms” and use them against Palestinians after visiting the scene of a stabbing operation near Tel Aviv, this morning.
Earlier in the morning, reports emerged about a stabbing incident in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territory, whereby a Palestinian man killed two settlers and injured three more.
The suspect was shot at and arrested on site. Ammar Awda, who carried out the stabbing operation that killed two settlers in “Holon,” south of “Tel Aviv,” was a political prisoner of the Palestinian Authority, who was released after a two-weeks detention period for a PA-critical post, just last week.
The post on Facebook reads,
“As for the so-called president, I have never seen anyone as despicable as you in my life. Shame on you and your honor. There are dogs eating the corpses of children, and you are still putting the responsibility for stopping the war on the sons of your homeland. Shame on you and on those who believe in you, you son of a fallen woman.”
