The US has carried out a strike in Iraq under the pretext of “self-defense,” according to a US official, just hours after the Israeli aggression on Beirut’s southern suburb that has killed civilians.

The US official said the strike was carried out because of a “threat to US-led coalition forces.”Airstrikes targeting the Jurf Al-Sakhar area, north of Babylon, Iraq, have been reported.
