This report depicts how Yemen’s army, Spanish protesters, and EU politicians prevented two Indian cargos, loaded with weapons, to reach Israel’s shores.
This was not a deliberate calibrated move, nor were the parties aware of the impact of their separate actions. Rather, their deeply ingrained feelings of responsibility connected the core of their pure deeds, enabling excellence.
On May 15, a cargo ship named Borkum avoided docking in Spain because of protestors on the shore. Nine European MPs had already written to the Spanish President to disallow the ship carrying weapons and ammunition to Israel.
Marine tracking sites show it departed Chennai in southeast India on April 2 and
circumnavigated Africa to avoid transiting through the Red Sea, where Yemen’s Houthis have been attacking vessels in reprisal for Israel’s war.
