On wednesday – this morning, the air defense force of the Yemeni Armed Forces shot down an MQ9 unmanned aerial vehicle, while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Marib Governorate

The operation was carried out with a locally-made surface-to-air missile, and footages of the operation will be published shortly.


The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that the taking down of the plane came just days after another plane of its type was shot down in the airspace of Al-Bayda Governorate.

It is the sixth UAV that has been shot down so far during the battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people.


The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to develop their defensive capabilities to face the American-British aggression and all hostile forces in trumping for the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip until  the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted .
