A coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the US, UK, EU, UN (UNSCR2216) invaded Yemen to restore an overthrown transitional gov. They imposed a blocked on the country, crippling the economy. The bombing campaign cost tens of thousands of lives. More than half of Yemen’s hospitals are out of order and over 3000 schools out of use.
About 4.5 million people are internally displaced, and some 24 million are dependent on humanitarian aid.
Malnutrition among children and women is steadily increasing in conjunction with ceased WFP aid.
Millions of Yemeni have starved to death.
In the year 2016, the worst cholera epidemic in recorded history hit Yemen, living over 4.000 dead and some 2 million infected.
At the same time, the US was bombing up and down Yemen in the wake of the 9/11 and war on terror quest.
Half of Saudi Arabian fighter jets are from the UK, and the other half is supplied by the US. The ammunition, bombs, missiles, training, and logistics come from the very same countries.
France, Germany, Italy, and Spain are actively supporting the blockade on Yemen and providing the Saudi-led Coalition with arms.
All effort by the West to annihilate the poorest Arab Nation Yemen.
The peace process, which started in April 2022, is very slow, and the situation that has been dubbed the worst humanitarian catastrophe is not improving in the least.
