Several civilians were killed in the Israeli strikes on targets in southern Lebanon, as well as a Hezbollah fighter, according to the official Lebanese news agency. Israel confirmed that it targeted Hezbollah with air strikes it launched on Wednesday following the death of an Israeli soldier who was hit by a rocket fired from Lebanon into northern Israel.
