Yemen’s goal is to stop the genocide in Gaza. UK’s is plainly egocentric and profit-driven. Britain is not interested in an independent Palestinian state. Leverage is key, and the UK has plenty of leverage on the apartheid regime. If the UK was interested in terminating the genocide in Gaza, they would have used their leverage.

However, stopping the war would mean the end of the British mandate, British hegemony, and the termination of arms sales to Israel would minimise the margin of profits out of arms sales.
