US considers designating Yemen’s Houthis a terrorist organization

Can the world’s worst humanitarian crisis be made even worse?

In Yemen, where an eight-years-long Saudi Arabia-led, US/UK/UN backed coalition siege made over 80 percent of the population depend on humanitarian aid, where more than 2.3 million children suffer from acute malnutrition and over six million cannot access education, where a genocide has been perpetrated, the Western backers now weigh in to do what?

Half of the country is under siege, and the rest is under Neocolonism-style exploitation.

So, what are the consequences or benefits of designating the Houthis terrorists?

Is it by any chance possible for the situation to become worse than it is right now?

To name the benefits out of this measure, there are none.

It is as always about the megalomaniac self-proclaimed defenders of the Western concept of democracy who have to play off their power against the poorest Arab nation.
