The deposit and central bank system is a big failure, and in addition, the occupational forces have been looting Yemen’s wealth since the onset of the war, depositing the revenue in their respective Central Banks.

But, they would not listen. Hence, Houthi actions followed their warnings.

Yemen’s foreign ministry said in a statement that the Houthis launched a drone attack on the southern Qena port in Shabwa on Wednesday. The group’s military spokesman said on Twitter that the operation “foiled an attempt to loot” Yemen’s oil by preventing a vessel from docking.

“Houthi attacks on ports in Hadhramaut and Shabwa led to a halt in exports there,” preventing successfully any further exploitation and looting of the countries resources.

Diplomacy is overrated; in the case of Yemen, military success is more likely. Especially in the face of the recent decision by the UK Court regarding arms trade to the Saudi Arabia-led coalition for use in the Yemen war, I strongly believe that they do not care about Yemeni lives lost, Human Rights or the Laws of War.
