However, Cuba receives much support from other Latin American countries, first of all, from Mexico. Furthermore, China and Russia offer crucial humanitarian aid in the form of wheat and fuel donations. Both countries, respectively, helped out last year and this year generously.

Yemen has never been beatified by this kind of support despite its favoured location among Muslim countries, who consider themselves to be the cradle of Islam. However, in Islam, being a member of a branch other than the Sunni – the largest – one is tantamount to being a Kafir.
