Another pressing and recently developing issue with significant impact on Yemen is the unfolding conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Response Forces. This has unleashed an influx of migration from Africa to Yemen, which is unprecedented, to say the least. In that, the statistics are showing an increase by 90 per cent in migrant numbers from Africa. However, they claim that the majority of the migrants originate from the Horn of Africa, specifically Ethiopia and Somalia, crossing through Yemen to reach Saudi Arabia for work. Most certainly, the outbreak of the conflict in Sudan and the increased numbers of migrants entering Yemen corollete with each other. As always, the truth will make its way to light; give it time …

While the conflict gaines international attention, governments of various countries continue with evacuation efforts of their citizens in Sudan, except for the Saudi Arabia backed/ internationally recognized Yemeni governement. This prop government, which has zero say in international affairs, has once more proven that they are no more than the puppets of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Over 40 Yemeni students have been stranded with no place to go. Left without money, they are sleeping on make-shift beds on the roofs of some random Sudanese buildings. Saudi Arabia, which has been waging a devastating war against the people of Yemen for the past eight years, is naturally focused on evacuation of other nationals, rather than rescuing Yemeni people. In the meantime, the Saudi Arabia-backed Yemeni government remains indifferent to the stranded Yemeni citizens in Sudan, who are desperately requesting help.
