Innumerable Western news outlets have been incessantly reporting on the Saudi Arabian and Houthi peace talks mediated by a delegation from the sultanate of Oman. During the past three days, over 900 POWs have been exchanged between the warring parties.
Today, in The Cradle Media:
The talks have been taking place without the involvement of any UN or western representatives and without the presence of either of Yemen’s parallel governments – the PLC and the UAE-appointed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

More on the STC and the PLC in due time. Today, it is about tropical diseases.
As aforementioned, the news about the ongoing negotiations and the positive outcomes have been channelled on all corporate media governing the global north. From BBC to The Guardian, all the likes have been putting on their pink glasses and depicting a picture of a bright wide world and fairy tales.
However, the bleak and unpleasant news about preventable child deaths, ongoing famine, lack of medical facilities, etc., do never make it to the consciousness of the ‘free world‘.
Last month, only a Middle Eastern news outlet The Middle East Monitor reported that measles is on the rise in Yemen, and today, a Turkish newspaper reported that 77 children have already died on measles since the beginning of this year.
Last month, the rainy season started once more, claiming several lives across Yemen. Most people do not know, but in 2016, Yemen was inflicted with the worst cholera epidemic in recorded history. According to the WHO, “The cumulative number of suspected cholera cases reported in Yemen from October 2016 to December 2020 is 2.510.806, including 3982 related deaths.
26.5% of the infected were children under the age of 5.” During rainy seasons and flooding, the numbers of cholera cases surge in the whole of Yemen, but most severely in the North Western parts of Yemen. This is mainly due to the Saudi Arabia-led airstrikes having been most severe in those areas, destroying nearly all infrastructure and health and sanitary facilities. The Yemeni organisation Yemen Data Project offers a pretty well recorded account on the frequency and target-locations of the Saudi Arabia-led UK, US-backed airstrikes on Yemen.
The rainy season and flooding started last month, and most certainly, surges in cholera cases will follow.
However, we never hear or read this in the corporate news. We never hear on the secretly or out in the open operating British, American, French troops on Yemeni soil. Nothing is being reported on the Anglo-American, German, French, Brasilian, Italian, Spanish- make remote control laser system bombs, paveway bombs, Brimstone and shadow cruise missles, and internationally prohibited cluster munitions, which are being dropped on Yemen once again in Anglo-American war planes.
Eclipsing history and re-writing it the way it suits the Western agenda? Again?
On secrete troops, deadly ammunition, and war planes supplied, maintained, and half-way in the air refuelled by the United Kingdom and United States to be continued …

in annihilation of the poorest Arab Country
