The Saudi Arabia-led coalition backed by their Western allies have been bombing Yemen since 26 March 2015 with internationally banned cluster monition and other deadly arnesnal, supplied by US, UK, Brasilia and other nations. The teams on the ground who incessantly attempt to remove these deadly remnants are struggling with the challenges, as they lack adequate technology and access to innovative tools. This is due to the blockade on the country by Saudi Arabia, US, UK, UN (UNSCR2216 Yemen), which is preventing entry and access of these tools. In addition, the international community turned their backs on Yemen depriving organisations of crucial donation aid. Left unattended, these remnants continue claiming lives every day, especially children’s lives in Hudaydah, Sa’ada, Hajja, Amran, etc. In order to have a better picture of the catastrophe unfolding, watch this video.
